Beef Chili

- 3 Lb Grass fed beef
- 3 ea/ diced Onion yellow
- 2 ea/ diced bell pepper, red
- 2 quarts tomato puree
- 2 tbsp cumin
- 2 tbsp pasilla chili powder
- 2 tbsp dark chili powder
- 1 tbsp granulated garlic
- 1 tbsp ancho chili powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 cups black beans
- salt to taste
Procedures
- Cook black beans, cool own and reserve liquid for later use.
- In a heavy bottom pot, heat vegetable oil until smoke appears, add beef in to pot and sear until brown then add onions and cook until translucent.
- Add bell pepper and spice and stir then add tomato puree and simmer on low for one hour.
- Lastly add the black beans in to chili, stir and add reserved bean liquid as needed, season with salt.
