The Grinch

The Grinch, with its hideous appearance, is a repulsive creature. So why create a cocktail inspired by that monster? The Grinch’s color scheme actually looks appealing when carried by an alcoholic beverage. The cocktail’s pale green base and red garnish bring a balance of elegance and mystery, which you will surely enjoy.

Ingredients:

• 2 oz Midori
• 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
• 1 tsp sugar syrup
• 1 cherry

Materials:

• mixing bowl
• cocktail shaker
• martini glass

Procedure:

1. Pour the Midori, lemon juice and the sugar syrup in a cocktail shaker.
2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly.
3. Pour the shaker’s contents in a martini glass.
4. Place a cherry on the drink then serve.

The blend of the drink’s green base, the red cherry and the contours of the martini glass create a sensuous combination with a pinch of Christmas. As you can see, The Grinch is out to steal not only Christmas, but the definition of the Christmas spirit.
